GeoPoint©
Point Finder graphically locates the points in a design file. It enables conventional staking to be completed in a fraction of the normal time. The operator can see his position numerically and graphically on screen and compare that to his desired position. He can also see all other points on-screen to help determine the best route to complete his staking. Points are easily recorded in a staking log for future use of publishing.
Log stake placement with one easy key stroke.
Stake at 1/5 the cost of conventional staking and at a fraction of the time required by conventional methods
  Rapid Surveying
This fully automated
data collection system
allows you to capture
points while while
driving across a site,
or choose them
individually and manually.
View the location of
every point in real time.

Increased Productivity

bulletAre you interested in increasing your productivity? Do you want to know the exact topography of a site before you start your project? With achievable accuracy of + or - 1/8 of an inch? Would you like the advantage of being able to calculate complete volumes for that site in just one day? AGPSal Computer Systems provides you with the first rapid surveying system of its kind. Maximize the potential of a site by gathering complete and accurate topographical information in just one day. In that one day, using GCS: Topo©, you can survey up to two hundred acres and collect as many as 20,000 points.
bulletGCS: Topo© functions as a fully automated and/or manual data collector. Enabling you to automatically capture points while driving across a site, or option of entering them in manually using any combination of instruments the operator chooses.
bulletAuto-Capture mode collects data as you travel over a site, automatically collecting the coordinate position. The operator can collect data from features that have like descriptions very quickly by setting the point label and then driving. For example, north field, east field and tree line.
bulletManual capture mode allows you to name each point individually. This is used when surveying features with different names and where you to note large amounts of detail about the feature. for example, 12-inch diameter birch tree.
bulletOnly one man is needed to set up and run the survey equipment. Equipped with an easy to use program and an ATV loaded with all the tools that are needed is a convenient way to complete a job. Optimize you time an costs by dramatically reducing the labor needed.
bulletSetup is made easy with our program guiding you step by step with a series of menus. Repeat setups can be eliminated because the program can utilize a wide variety of surveying equipment. Use one tool or a combination because the program can interface with a number of instruments.
bulletAccurately survey acres of ground in a fraction of the time required by conventional methods.

Real Time Data Display

bulletContinuous visual representation of all collected data and you current position in a real-time graphical display.
bulletOn screen text data allow the operator to make sure switches an parameters are set correctly. This includes the current vector speed, rod length, point label, current coordinate position and auto-capture settings.
bulletView collected information, cross-sections, plan vies and staking points in the field to increase speed and resolution for topo and staking operations. Check perimeters, structure outlines, centerlines, point location, density, and all other site features that are on-screen.
bulletBackground drawings shown on screen can show proposed and existing buildings and structures for advanced orientation.

Error-Free Setup

bulletThe Station Establishment method allows the operator to occupy a point and shoot to another point. This sets elevation, horizontal angle correction and XY position of the instrument. This can be done automatically or manually depending on operator preference.
bulletSetup can be performed by Free Station setup. This allows the operator to place the instrument at any point and calculate its position by sighting tow or more known points. This can be done in automatic or manual modes.
bulletThese procedure step the operator through the setup to eliminate errors and speed up the operation. It does this by using a third point to check against. The program shows the operator his error and records his reasoning for a bad setup if he chooses to stay at that point.

Advanced Data Collection and Site Analysis

bulletUser friendly interface is easy to learn and operate. Most times your hands are off the keyboard.
bulletEasily survey features such as steep slopes, cliffs and non-traversable surfaces with specialized equipment such as a Criterion 300™.
bulletRecord large amounts of detail with easily changeable point labels.
bulletImportant features can be easily located.
bulletVersatile programming allows fast, easy changes and calculations to be made at any time.
bulletGCS: Topo© can utilize existing laser equipment and low to high accuracy GPS equipment.
bulletSystem can run using 100% GPS with no laser required. RTK GPS plus advanced hardware and software allow you to work on your own schedule in light rain, snow, high wind, or fog.
bulletUsing GPS with a laser or ETS can give you accuracy up to + or - 1/8". Higher accuracy in a fraction of the time it takes using any other method.
bulletAutomatic error detection saves time and effort.

Data Management

bulletData collected or data to provide finish contours and/or as-built drawing can be uploaded from, or downloaded to, most construction software such as Surfer™, Eagle Point™, Microstation Siteworks™, Agteck™, Paydirt™, Arose™ and ASD™. These commercial programs plus many time saving utilities allow you to process and edit data on the site or in the office.
bulletEasy in office data management maximizes field performance.
bulletFind bad point by flagging those that are higher than a user setable slope such as all points with slope greater than 2:1.
bulletFilter out all points that have been collected at too high of a speed.
bulletIn the field of in the office you have several options to "playback" your work.
bulletUse the data to calculate accurate earthwork volumes on a daily basis.

Underwater Topography

bulletUse GCS: Topo© to perform accurate underwater surveys.
bulletDepth is measured with your sonar or underwater laser while
the position of the boat is simultaneously recorded by a
Tracking ETS or GPS.
bulletThis highly accurate survey is not degraded by the up and
down movement of the boat.
bulletExcavation and backfill below water surfaces can be checked
to eliminate guessing.
bulletThe remaining capacity of settling ponds van be accurately
measured.
bulletRivers with strong currents and harbors with heavy traffic can
be mapped with ease, showing the emergence of new sand
bars and obstructions as well as the depth of channels.
bulletShoreline surveys can show changing sand patterns and
whether breakwaters are suffering damage.
